Organ Donation New Zealand
The overarching obstacle for my Organ Donation New Zealand campaign was overcoming the psyche associated with mortality, with the objective of encouraging the audience to assist by discussing their wishes with their own family, friends and next of kin.
The concept for my campaign consists of fortune cookie tokens, six A1 posters and an interactive website.
I have used the personal stories of those affected by the donation process across the campaign, as the raw and honest content of these stories has an emotional impact on the audience whilst being sensitive to cultural beliefs. Handwritten typography further expresses the individualism of these stories.
To further engage the audience and physically involve them in the campaign in a memorable approach, I have created fortune cookies to convey a metaphorical experience of fate. The cookies contain short phrases that are pulled from the stories used in the campaign.
